Craig Hammer
Craig Hammer is the founder and owner of Hammer Residential, LLC. Mr. Hammer has overall responsibility for the company's initiatives; including development opportunities and real estate sales.
Mr. Hammer was born and grew up in Newton having attended the local public schools. He is the third generation of his family to be a lifelong resident of the city. He began his career at Court Square Press, where he was involved in sales and management. In 1989, He founded Hammer Graphics, a printing and promotional products company. After successfully growing the business, he sold it in 2001. As a licensed broker since 1987, he began a career in real estate acquisition and development specializing in multimillion dollar homes in the Greater Boston area.
Mr. Hammer holds a B.A. degree in marketing from Ohio University, and has been involved in numerous local philanthropic organizations including Newton Jaycees and the Men's Associates at HRCA. Mr. Hammer's hobbies include cooking, walking, and golf. Mr. Hammer has been married for over seventeen years and has two teenage children and two Portuguese Water Dogs.
Fern Hammer
Fern Hammer is a sales associate at Hammer Residential.
Mrs. Hammer is a lifelong resident of Newton. She attended the Newton Public Schools and is a graduate of the University of Hartford and Northeastern University.
As a licensed salesperson since 1985, she has spent several years in the real estate business.
Mrs. Hammer spends much of her free time volunteering at many organizations including The Sagoff Center at Faulkner Hospital, Children's Hospital, and The Wellness Center. She has been married to Craig for over seventeen years and is the proud mother of two teenagers.
